Khao Lak

Although Khao Lak will, for the next two decades at least, be remembered for those who perished during the tsunami, it is also one of the best places to see the resilience of those who survived. Tsunami memorials line this stretch of coast making it a memorable pilgrimage. Rather than being monuments of the region, with a number of ongoing community projects in which outsides can participate.
